Über Makram

I am a firm believer that knowledge is power. My goal is not just to help you get through your curriculum but to ignite a genuine understanding and interest in subjects like mathematics, physics, and programming. I understand that these topics can feel daunting—I've been in your shoes before. Back when I was in school, I struggled with them too. Concepts seemed abstract, problems felt overwhelming, and it was easy to feel lost.

But through perseverance, hard work, and finding my own way of learning, I managed to turn things around. Today, as a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at EPFL, I've not only mastered these subjects but also developed techniques to make them much more approachable and enjoyable. I’ve learned that the key to understanding complex topics lies in breaking them down into simple, intuitive steps and connecting them to real-world situations.

When I teach, I focus on creating a relaxed and engaging learning environment. I’ll take the time to explain concepts in multiple ways until they click. I use visual aids, practical examples, and analogies that make even the toughest topics feel less intimidating. I encourage questions—no matter how basic they might seem—because every question is a step towards deeper understanding.

I also recognize that everyone learns differently. Whether you're a visual learner, someone who learns by doing, or if you prefer listening and discussing, I will adapt my teaching style to suit you. I want to build your confidence, not just your knowledge, so that tackling exams and assignments feels less stressful and more like an opportunity to show how much you've learned.

Understanding difficult concepts can take time, but with patience, guidance, and the right approach, you’ll find yourself progressing steadily. I’m here to support you every step of the way, turning frustration into clarity and confusion into confidence. If you’re ready to transform how you approach these subjects and start enjoying the learning process, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to help you on your academic journey!

I approach each subject with a clear and intuitive method, ensuring that complex topics are broken down into simple, digestible steps. I use real-life examples and analogies to make abstract concepts more relatable and easier to understand. My teaching style is interactive and adaptive—I adjust my explanations based on your learning pace and preferred style, whether you are a visual, auditory, or hands-on learner.

I focus on building a strong foundation in the basics before gradually introducing more advanced concepts. Throughout our sessions, I encourage questions and discussions, creating a comfortable and supportive environment where you can express any doubts without hesitation.

My goal is not just to help you memorize formulas or methods but to enable you to truly grasp the "why" and "how" behind them. This deeper understanding will help you gain confidence in tackling exercises, preparing for exams, and applying your knowledge to real-world scenarios.

If you need help, don’t hesitate to reach out. I am genuinely passionate about teaching and committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. Whether you are struggling with specific problems or looking to strengthen your overall understanding, I am here to guide you every step of the way!
