• Seit wann interessierst Du Dich für Deinen Fachbereich - und ganz besonders den Privatunterricht?

  Even though I have a love for many forms of art, visual arts and architecture have always held a special place in my heart. Ever since I can remember, I've been painting, drawing, and creating model houses and cities. I've been lucky to have inspiring art, design, and architecture teachers as a child and later in life. Their encouragement kept me motivated to pursue this path. I received pedagogical training in high school that shaped me into a teacher. While I chose to study architecture at university, my passion for drawing and painting never faded. Throughout my architectural studies, I continued to create artwork. As I worked on establishing my own art and architecture studio, I also started teaching. To further hone my skills, I participated in various art workshops. Teaching at the university in person and online has been an amazing experience, allowing me to connect with people worldwide. I feel like this journey has made me a bridge between the local and the global contexts.

• Wer ist Dein Vorbild als Lehrer/in? Ist es ein/e ehemalige/r Lehrer/in von Dir oder vielleicht auch ein bestimmtes Werk, welches Dich ganz besonders inspirierte?

  The concept of passion is often crucial in the context of the creative process. I consider that passion is a key factor in the ability to repeat a process without giving up, to distance oneself from the creative process and to observe oneself and one's surroundings.

• Welche sind Deiner Meinung nach die notwendigen Kenntnisse & Fähigkeiten, um ein echter Experte in Deinem Fachbereich zu werden?

  Don't be afraid to make mistakes.

• Gibt es eine Anekdote aus Deinem Berufsleben oder Deiner Schulzeit, von der Du uns erzählen möchtest?

  My enthusiasm for both the creative process of making art and the act of imparting knowledge to others stems from a deep-seated passion.

• Es ist beruhigend zu wissen, dass auch Profis mal ganz klein angefangen haben. Erzähle uns, wie wurdest Du zu einem/r Experten/in in Deinem Fachgebiet?

  I feel so happy to have been selected for the SaDe (Artist Support Fund) 2024. This fund is organized by IKSV & Mercedes Benz Turk. Also, the establishment of my own art, architecture and design studio represented a significant creative achievement for me. Up until that point, I had been uncertain about my ability to create. The architectural design project I completed as part of my graduation requirements was commended by the university for its creativity.

  Indeed, I have had numerous experiences with this phenomenon. Regardless of the duration of the period in question, I have observed that maintaining a consistent level of participation in the lessons is a crucial factor in achieving this outcome.
