I was lectured by Ralph during my BA Ancient History degree. He is highly qualified, trustworthy and, most importantly, good at his job.

Ralph's extraordinary range of expertise makes studying with him absolutely fascinating. I'm waiting to start studying again with him soon.

Ralph is the most knowledgeable person I think I know! He has excellent patience and will support your learning with great professionalism, attention to detail and fabulous resources. I would definitely recommend Ralph!

His command of the Roman Empire, and its history, is unparalleled and infectious.

Though you may get confused with his PowerPoints by themselves, Ralph is by far one of the best lecturers ever. This man got me through my first two years of university with amazing marks and helped me gain confidence in my knowledge of all things Roman (and celtic). He gives fantastic advice, and is so passionate about his work that you'll have a hard time getting him to stay within the time limit as he rants on!! 5 out of five stars!!!
