WHO AM I:
I am an interpreter and translator in French, German and Polish (MA degree of linguistics), with experience of teaching languages. My way of teaching is based on COMMUNICATION, as it's the aim of every language in the world. We will practice your speaking and understanding, and also writing. Speaking in a foreign language is like dancing or practicing any kind of physical activity - we need to build up muscles, practice the coordination of the articulating system (so to say, our mouth, tongue, teeth and so on :)), then learn how to manage all these activities and - in the end - speak automatically, so that every student, in everyday life situations, is able to react and express in French or German in a very natural way. Let's talk! Parlons! Sprechen wir!
HOW THE LESSON LOOKS LIKE:
We will use interactive materials a lot, for example videos in the Internet. We can also use your own books if you have some. In my class, I'm trying to provide to students a real experience of a language, in order to boost their imagination. Example: Instead of reading a conversation in French about the restaurant, I could come to some French coffeeshop with you and practice small talk with the waiter inside :) of course, we will also learn grammar with proper, "traditional" grammar exercises!
