Über Abigail
I am a classical composer, guitarist and music novelist. I enjoy working on my own compositions and book projects.
I love talking and teaching others about music - especially music history. My favorite pastime is researching composers and writing books.
For my music education, I have been playing guitar for twelve years. I completed two years of music theory and aural skills at a community college.
In 2022 I lived in Vienna, Austria for three months and took part in private guitar lessons.
Currently I am living in Leipzig, Germany where I am a guest listener in a variety of courses at the Hochschule fur Musik - Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. My favorite place in the university is the library.

Whether you wish to learn music history, theory or guitar, I lesson plan according to what you want to learn.
In history lessons, I put together and walkthrough creative powerpoints in which would be about a composer or subject in history. I enjoy talking about history subjects and I write books. If you love in depth music history, I am the tutor for you.
In music theory lessons, I would put together a powerpoint or worksheets to talk through a theory subject - whether you are learning to read music or wish to learn about forms of composition.
For guitar lessons, I put together various exercises to help you learn and better your skills at the instrument. I love teaching beginner guitarist and teaching how to read music on guitar.
I teach mainly in English, but I have about B1 in German.
