(Español abajo) Hi, I'm Enrique "Kike"! Originally from Cali, Colombia, I was adopted by my German parents at the age of 8, along with my sister. I speak German, English and Spanish, and my life has always revolved around music and dance. Growing up in Germany, I trained in Latin-Ballroom dance up to Gold level, performing in a Latin formation and briefly in competitive dance (though not in official tournaments). After moving to Berlin in 1999, I rediscovered salsa—starting with Rueda de Casino, then Cuban and linear styles. For the past 7 years, my focus has been Salsa Caleña, which I’ve trained intensively in Cali at top schools Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique, I’d love to share my passion and expertise with you! Let’s dance! Growing up in Germany, I trained in Latin-Ballroom dance up to Gold level, performing in a Latin formation and briefly in competitive dance. After moving to Berlin in 1999, I (probably rediscovered) salsa—starting with Rueda de Casino, then Cuban and linear styles. For the past 7 years, my focus has been Salsa Caleña, which I’ve trained intensively in Cali at top schools like JoyDance, La Escuela de Baile, Swing Latino, Sondeluz and StepDance, as well as through private lessons with renowned dancers (Jhon Jairo Rodriguez, Ricardo Murillo, Tatan Hernández, and others) but mostly I trained with my friends Ronald Parra Bejarano and Karol Giraldo (Both professional former Swing Latino dancers). In Berlin, I’ve danced in various Salsa Caleña show projects and, since 2017, have been leading the n.e.V. "Kike Cali Club". In 2024, I co-founded CaliStyleBerlin, an initiative that organizes workshops in Berlin for professional dancers from Cali. I also perform in their Grupo Representativo (led by professional dancer Michele Lozada), showcasing authentic Colombian dance culture. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique, I’d love to share my passion and expertise with you! Let’s dance! Hola, soy Enrique "Kike"! Nací en Cali, la capital mundial de la salsa, y a los 8 años me fui pa' Alemania con mis papás adoptivos y mi hermana. Hablo alemán, inglés y español (¡con el acento bien caleño, eso sí!). La música y el baile son lo mío desde siempre. En Alemania me formé en bailes de salón hasta nivel Gold, bailando en un grupo de latinos y metiéndome un poco en lo competitivo (pero sin llegar a torneos). Cuando llegué a Berlín en 1999, la salsa me volvió a enganchar - empecé con Rueda de Casino, luego salsa cubana y en línea. Pero hace 7 años me enamoré de la Salsa Caleña de verdad, y desde entonces no paro de viajar a Cali a entrenar en las mejores escuelas: JoyDance, La Escuela de Baile, Swing Latino, Sondeluz y StepDance. Además, he tomado clases privadas con los mejores: Jhon Jairo Rodríguez, Ricardo Murillo y Tatan Hernández, pero mis parceros Ronald Parra Bejarano y Karol Giraldo (ex-bailarines de Swing Latino) son quienes más me han enseñado. En Berlín he bailado en varios espectáculos de Salsa Caleña y desde 2017 dirijo la asociación "Kike Cali Club" (n.e.V.). En 2024 armamos CaliStyleBerlin con otros locos por la salsa, para traer bailarines profesionales de Cali a dar talleres aquí. Ahora mismo soy parte de su Grupo Representativo (bajo la dirección de la pro Michele Lozada), mostrando la verdadera cultura de baile colombiana. ¡No importa si estás empezando o quieres pulir tu técnica, aquí te enseño con toda la actitud caleña! ¡Vamos a gozarnos la salsa!

¡Kike es un excelente profesor! Me encanta su técnica de baile y lo completo que es en su enseñanza. Siempre está combinando distintos estilos de forma muy natural, lo cual hace que siempre se pueda aprender algo nuevo y valioso en cada clase.
Además, es una gran persona y sus clases son dinámicas, divertidas y muy enriquecedoras. Se nota que está en constante evolución, formándose con personas expertas y perfeccionando su estilo frecuentemente, lo cual se refleja en la calidad, el detalle y el valor de cada sesión. Er ist ein sehr engagierter Lehrer, der stets auf der Suche nach neuer Inspiration ist. Außerdem gibt er einem persönliches Feedback, was sehr hilfreich ist. Sehr zu empfehlen!Ich kenne Kike seit mehreren Jahren und bin voll begeistert von seinem Tanzstill, Offenheit und wie gut er die Tanzschritte erstmal durch kleinere Bewegungen zeigt, so dass die Schrittendynamik für alle klar wird. Richtig empfehlenswert als Tanzlehrer!
I first knew Kike when he was organizing choreographies for short Instagram videos, I had an amazing time and learned a lot, but also connected with other dancers!
The classes are amazing in the sense we learn a lot of moves, rooted in high quality techniques, all while having a great amount of fun, and taking salsa to the next level thanks to the attentive approach and personalized feedback.
