Über Allegra
I am an English Tutor based in Vienna, Austria. I am American and have taught in the top private schools in New York city. I have a Masters degree, M.S Ed., in education and I now have a tutoring business in Vienna. I work with children in both primary and secondary school and with adults. For children, I teach all subjects and among other things I help, strengthen essay writing skills, reading, vocabulary building, homework help and enrichment. I am experienced with learning disabilities. I help adults with building up conversational skills, vocabulary and reading skills. I strengthen writing skills, helping with personal emails, brochures, blurbs, etc. The work I do is always tailored to each individual's need.

I design my lessons for each individual need and each individual personality. I look at how that person learns best and go from there. Together we look at what your child's strengths are and then how we can improve on the weaker areas. I use both structured work and games, making it as fun and enjoyable as possible. Having been a classroom teacher for about 18 years, I have many tricks up my sleeve. Working with adults I like to hear first what your specific English needs are and then shape my teaching around those needs.
