FM Erkin Karaokçu is a chess trainer about four years.
In 2017 Turkish U12 Girls Chess Championship, his student Dilek Türünz has selected as nominee for 'Turkish U12 Girls National Team'.
In 2019, FM Erkin Karaokçu was the trainer of Denizli Chess Club at Turkish Cadets and Juniors Chess Championship. His student from Denizli Club, one of his students got the sole 1st place in the category of 16 Age Girls with the score of 6.5 / 7. His other student from the same club was selected to the 'Turkish U15 National Team' by finishing the tournament at the 5th place in the U15 Category.
In 2019, FM Erkin Karaokcu competed in the Turkish 2nd Chess League on behalf of his Denizli Chess Club, with his students. Denizli Chess Club has achieved a major success by completing at the 6th place in Turkish 2nd Chess League.
One of the students of ERKİN KARAOKÇU, took the 1st place at the 8th table by scoring 7.5/9 in the tournament.
FM Erkin Karaokçu is also trainer of the Turkish National Chess Team for Visually Impaired players. In Ibca 2019 (held in Italy), we scored pretty well.

As a chess player, my strength lies in the Bendu System, which I developed with my mentor Erhan Sayın, a chess coach and NLP trainer with over 20 years of experience. When I was rated around 2000, the understanding brought by this system helped me become a FIDE Master within three years. I believe that if you don’t approach something correctly, even the most perfect plan will fail.
My mental toughness, shaped by life’s challenges, has also played a crucial role in my growth—difficulties are not obstacles but lessons.
As an instructor, my strength lies in building deep, multi-dimensional relationships with my students. We learn chess for the joy and essence of the game; success naturally follows. I aim to create self-learners by providing comprehensive methods and meaningful connections between chess and life—where understanding, not memorization, is the true goal.
