Über Paula
I'm a Brazilian teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Portuguese and English to students from all walks of life. I’m passionate about language, culture, and meaningful connection, and I design engaging, supportive lessons to help learners of all levels build confidence, fluency, and real-world communication skills.
Beyond the classroom, I’m an avid language learner myself — currently pursuing a Master’s in Linguistics at the University of Zurich and learning German. I’m also passionate about psychology and neurolinguistics, and I love exploring how the brain engages with language.
In my free time, you’ll often find me hiking, dancing, traveling, or enjoying nature. My curiosity about people, cultures, and how we connect across languages shapes not just how I live — but how I teach. I believe learning should be joyful, meaningful, and empowering.

Hello! My name is Paula I’m Brazilian and a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese. I also teach English and hold a TEFL qualification. With over 20 years of experience teaching students from diverse countries and cultures, I’m passionate about helping learners connect with the Portuguese and English languages and cultures in a natural, engaging way.
I hold degrees in Language and Arts as well as in Arts & Communication. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Linguistics at the University of Zurich and learning German — so I truly understand the journey of learning a new language!
My classes are:

• Tailored to your goals — whether for work, travel, studies, everyday conversation, or for children of Brazilian families living abroad who want to connect with their heritage
