Über Ziad
Experienced Oud & Oriental singing teacher for over 11 years, Lebanese, currently residing in Mönchengladbach. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. My reason for relocating to Germany is to complete my studies at the University of Kamp Lintfort. I am fluent in English, Couramment en français, ولغتي الأم هي اللغة العربية. Unfortunately, I speak only a little German (Aber leider spreche ich ein bisschen Deutsch). As a friendly and passionate teacher, I derive joy from witnessing my students progress and enjoy playing duets with them. Experienced Oud & Oriental singing teacher for over 11 years, Lebanese, currently residing in Mönchengladbach. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes. However, if you lack a passion for music or the instrument itself, I advise against pursuing it. My reason for relocating to Germany is to complete my studies at the University of Kamp Lintfort. Perfekt! Ziad goes beyond just teaching the subjects of the class, such as solfeggio, oud, or singing. He also guides you on effective study methods, ensuring that you build a solid knowledge base. As a non-Arabic speaker, I initially had concerns about learning Arabic music. However, Ziad has been incredibly patient in explaining not only the pronunciation but also how to develop an ear for Arabic music. His extensive expertise really shines through in his teaching.
