Über Nikos
For the past five years, I have taught mathematics to undergraduate and postgraduate students from various disciplines. I have extensive experience in both pure and applied mathematics, as well as in statistics and probability theory.
Holding an undergraduate degree in mathematics, I am automatically granted a teaching certificate. During my studies, I focused on the teaching of geometry, algebra, calculus, probability theory, and statistics. This background has made me highly aware of the common difficulties students face in these subjects and effective ways to mitigate them.
Additionally, for the last 3 years, I have been working in the industry in different projects (financial, legal and bio domains) as data scientist/ machine-learning research engineer.

In my teaching approach, I always start by motivating new concepts before introducing and developing them through theory and examples. Theory is conveyed through slides and lecture notes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the material. When applicable, I write code in various languages (Python, R, Matlab, Julia) to illustrate the transition from theory to implementation.
