Über Roberto
If you are here it is because perhaps you had that "call" as well (like many of us) to start an incredible journey into the magical and very complex world of flamenco.
My name is Roberto and I am a guitarist and guitar teacher.
My journey with the flamenco guitar started 18 years ago in Granada (Andalusia) and then led me through Córdoba, Jerez, Mallorca and Hungary to Berlin.
In Andalusia I had the opportunity to learn in the most authentic way, from many local guitar players, to participate in the every day life of Flamenco Clubs (Peñas) and beside I took Masterclasses as well from Pepe del Morao, Rycardo Moreno.
Since 2020 I became a guitarist and have played in restaurants, music bars, galleries, theaters in 3 different countries such as in solo, in duo and with band as well.
In this period of time I started to teach also, to give back what I received during my journey, in the same way with the oral tradition sharing the passion and the knowledge of the flamenco guitar.
Since 2022 I live in Berlin where beside the production of an album project, I have been giving private guitar lessons and workshops for the last 2 years.

So what will we learn together?
- Right & left hand techniques on the flamenco guitar (pulgar, arpegio, tremolo, picado, golpe, rasgeado etc.)
- Introduction to the flamenco styles (palos) and their languages, structures and traditions (solea, solea por buleria, buleria, tientos, tangos, rumba, seguiriya, fandangos etc.)
- Introduction to the diferent flamenco rhythms (compases) through the styles (palos)
- Percussion, nudillos and clappings (palmas)
- Harmonies on the flamenco guitar and composition techniques
- In long term: development of your own musical language
The lessons are for all levels, in English or Spanish and in Prenzlauerberg at my home. You can choose between the next options:
