Über José
I am a portuguese classical guitarist from Lisbon. I started playing the guitar at 11 years old in a music academy. Later I graduted from Music Highschool and I enrolled in a Bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatoire in the Netherlands, which I graduated from with distinction. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Kunst Universitat Graz. During these year I've had the opportunity to develop my guitar skills in other fields, outside of the classical domain. I hold a minor degree in Flamenco playing, as well as Early Music. I'm also experienced in Fado accompaniment, the folk music from my hometown.
I've been teaching for about 6 years and it's honestly one of my favourite activities, as I find truly inspiring to transmit the gift/pleaure of music making to other people.

I have a very personalized approach to each student. In the first lesson I will ask the student what kind of music they'd like to learn and then develop our work from then. All of my students are working on different kinds of music, but the most important thing is that they enjoy their time with the instrument.
