I have had the pleasure of knowing Ozum since our time studying together at the Istanbul University State Conservatoire, and as a fellow teacher, I have always deeply admired her dedication to the craft.

Ozum is that rare musician who is as gifted an educator as she is a performer. While her credentials from the Barenboim-Said Akademie and her extensive orchestral career in Berlin speak to her world-class talent, her true strength lies in her teaching. She has a natural ability to connect with students of all ages and levels, tailoring her approach with immense patience and insight.

She doesn’t just teach the instrument; she nurtures a genuine love for music. As a colleague, I can attest to her professionalism and her unique ability to break down complex concepts into something accessible and inspiring. I highly recommend her to anyone in Berlin looking for a top-tier viola teacher and mentor.
