My Ambition
My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but above all, to help them regain confidence and realize: "I can actually do this."
Born in 1989, I have been teaching as a homeroom and subject teacher across various school levels since 2011. This diversity has shown me how differently people learn – and how crucial it is to cater individually to each person.
Education and ExperienceI completed my Master of Arts in Secondary Education at the PH Bern and have been teaching in Switzerland for many years.
My experience spans various school levels and educational sectors:
Primary School: Classroom Teacher
Lower Secondary School (Sekundarstufe I):
Classroom Teacher Integration Classes:
Teacher for intensive language and integration programs (DAZ/DAF)
Vocational Preparation (10th School Year):
Teacher with a focus on apprenticeship searching and core subject revision
Vocational School:
Teacher for General Education (ABU), 2nd–4th apprenticeship year
Tutoring & Learning Coaching:
Providing long-term, individual support to students – including guiding them from secondary school through upper secondary specialized school (FMS) graduation theses, all the way to passing the Gymnasium entrance exams.
My Teaching Philosophy
In the classroom, my focus is not on rushing through as much material as possible in the shortest time.
What matters most to me is that students truly understand what they are learning.Many students start out feeling insecure or as though they are "not good enough."
This is exactly where I come in. I work in a calm, structured, and pressure-free way, allowing understanding to develop step by step.
Once the foundation is solid, progress often happens faster than anyone expects.
Beyond the Classroom
Outside of education, I have gained many experiences that have strongly shaped my approach to teaching:
Kitesurf Instructor: in Sicily, Cape Verde, and Mexico
3x Swiss Champion: in Jazz and Modern Dance
My Dog: whom I adopted from Mexico
Skipper: since 2026, I have also held the Swiss Offshore Licence (Hochseeschein) for motorboats and sailing yachts

Hey, I’m Amélie!
I’m Amélie Boller – teacher, learning coach, and tutor.
For me, learning has always been about more than just delivering curriculum content. It’s about understanding people, guiding them, and restoring their confidence in their own abilities.
My Ambition
