Über Yoojin
I completed my bachelor’s degrees in Fine Arts and Fashion Studies at Seoul National University, and I am currently working toward a Korean Language Teaching Certificate.
I have been interested in different cultures and languages from a young age, which led me to travel frequently.
In addition to English, I have studied French and German, allowing me to better understand my students’ perspectives and provide the support they truly need.
I spent one year as an exchange student in Sweden, and I am currently based in Berlin.
Since 2021, I have been teaching Korean both online and offline on Preply, working with students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

In my classes
We combine speaking practice with your teacher and structured textbook learning.
Based on your level and goals, I select an appropriate textbook published by the King Sejong Institute and share it with you before the lesson.
Together, we decide on the direction of the class based on your interests and objectives.
The goal is to help you practice practical, real-life speaking without fear, while also building a solid foundation and clear understanding of Korean through textbooks.
I keep a personal Google Docs file for each student, where I record lesson content and feedback after every class.
This makes reviewing and self-study much easier.
I also assign light, personalized homework tailored to each student’s level, goals, and schedule, so you can keep making progress between lessons.
Many students who once lacked confidence in their Korean
are now enjoying their lessons and making steady progress.

Perfekt! Ich war von deretwegen Stunde an Fan von Xoojins Unterricht. Sie erklärt alles verständlich, langsam und geduldig. Das Unterrichts-material ist umfangreich, jedoch mit einem sehr guten Auffbau. Ich freue mich jede Woche auf meine Koreanisch-Stunde.
