Über Dhami
I am Jeevan, a professional bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) teacher from India. I hold a Master’s degree in Music with specialization in bansuri and have successfully cleared the NET examination. I have been teaching online since 2017, working with students from India, the United States, Germany, and other parts of Europe. Trained in the Banaras Gharana tradition, I focus on providing authentic classical knowledge along with a structured and enjoyable learning experience. My teaching emphasizes correct technique, musical understanding, and gradual progress, while also helping students connect with the joy, calm, and depth of Indian classical music. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, my aim is to guide you with clarity, tradition, and encouragement so that every lesson feels meaningful and inspiring.

Namaste, I am Jeevan Dhami, a professional Bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) teacher based in Patna, India. I hold a Master’s degree in Music, have qualified UGC-NET, and bring over 9 years of dedicated teaching experience in Indian classical music. I have been teaching online since 2017 and have also served as a music teacher in government colleges, which has given me strong academic grounding along with practical teaching expertise. My formal training comes from the Faculty of Performing Arts, IIT BHU, and I belong to the authentic Banaras Gharana tradition, known for its depth, purity, and spiritual richness. While many flute teachers are available on this platform, my approach focuses on teaching bansuri in its true classical and traditional form, with clear technique, proper riyaz methods, and deep musical understanding. Alongside classical ragas, students can also explore bhajans, Bollywood melodies, meditation music, and improvisation, depending on their interest and level. For me, the bansuri is not just a musical instrument — it is a journey toward inner calm, concentration, and joy. I ensure that every student, whether a complete beginner or an advanced learner, experiences steady progress, confidence, and inspiration in every lesson.
