  I have been interested in computers since I was a child. My first steps were playing games on the computer and writing texts with Office.

• Welche technologische Entwicklung hat Dich ganz besonders geprägt? Und von welcher technologischen Entwicklung erwartest Du, dass sie in (naher) Zukunft wegweisend sein wird?

  Autonomous driving is the technological development that has influenced me the most and I think it will become more and more popular in the near future.

• Erzähle uns mehr über Deine Spezialisierung im IT-Bereich und, etwas allgemeiner, über deren Bedeutung im Informatik-Universum!

  I am a software engineer specialized in machine learning. I work with computer vision, data analysis as well as optimization, and sensor data. The combination of these skills is very interesting for me in order to automate and analyze the behavior of tasks in different applications.

• Inwiefern inspirieren Dich Visionäre wie Bill Gates, Steve Jobs oder Mark Zuckerberg?

  Visionaries inspire me with their creativity and how they started. Most of them started with a very small business in a small space and after a few years of hard work, they became very successful.

• Was würdest Du einer Person sagen, die am PC generell etwas unsicher ist und Dir gegenüber äußert: "Dieser ganze Computerkram ist viel zu kompliziert für mich"?

  I would say to him "Just start"! Nobody started out knowing everything about computers. Being motivated to learn and doing research to understand how it works is more important than the technology itself.

• Hilf uns, Dich ein wenig besser kennenzulernen, und erzähle uns ein wenig mehr über Deine ganz persönlichen Leidenschaften & Hobbies (ob sie nun mit IT zu tun haben oder nicht…)!

  Outside of the computer world, I have been a handball player for twelve years and still play. Also, during my studies, I studied in four different countries, which allowed me to experience different cultures.

• Kurz und knapp: Was macht aus Dir einen Superprof? (…den auch eine AI nicht ersetzen können wird!)

  To me, a superprof is someone who loves to share his knowledge, who becomes happy when he explains something related to his field, and who is passionate about what he does. That's why I am a superprof!
