Über Kristina

Hello! My name is Kristina, and I am a native Serbian speaker, born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia.

I currently live and work in Austria, where I have built my professional career. I hold a **Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA**, and I work in the banking sector.

Besides Serbian, my native language, I speak **German at C1 level and English at B2 level**. Living in a German-speaking environment has also given me a strong understanding of the challenges that come with learning and using a foreign language in everyday life.

I am a friendly, patient and open-minded person who enjoys communicating with people from different backgrounds. I believe that a good teacher should create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable, supported and motivated to speak without being afraid of making mistakes.

As someone who was born and raised in Belgrade, I can also introduce you to the natural Serbian language, pronunciation and everyday expressions that you may not always find in textbooks.

I would love to share my language and culture with you and help you feel more confident speaking Serbian.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and level. I focus on creating a relaxed, practical, and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence and use Serbian naturally in everyday situations.

For beginners, lessons will typically cover:

Essential Serbian words and everyday phrases
Introductions and small talk
Useful expressions for real-life situations
Basic grammar and sentence structure
Verb tenses and their practical use
An introduction to Serbian cases and how to use them correctly

My lessons are suitable for learners from A1 to B2 level. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have a good foundation in Serbian, I adapt each lesson to your individual level and learning goals.

A1–A2: Building a strong foundation with basic vocabulary, everyday phrases, pronunciation, grammar and simple conversations.
B1: Developing conversational skills, expanding vocabulary and improving grammar through practical, everyday topics.
B2: Becoming more confident and fluent in Serbian, with a strong focus on speaking, natural conversation, pronunciation and expressing yourself clearly in different situations.

By B2 level, students should already be able to communicate comfortably in Serbian, and my lessons will focus on making their speech more natural, fluent and accurate
