Bei Andrés im Unterricht sind ausnahmslos alle gut aufgehoben. Der Umgang mit seinen Schüler*innen verläuft sehr entspannt, lustig, fordernd und das alles, ohne dass es an Professionalität und Wissen mangeln würde.

Ein großartiger Klavierprofessor – sehr verständnisvoll und geduldig, besonders wenn man an einer schwierigen Passage arbeitet. Sein Repertoirestudium geht in die Tiefe: Er legt großen Wert auf den historischen und stilistischen Kontext, nicht nur auf die Technik, sodass man wirklich versteht, warum ein Stück so funktioniert, wie es funktioniert. Er fordert einen musikalisch heraus und ist dabei stets unterstützend. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I studied with Andrés for almost a year. When I started, I had very little knowledge and often left many exam questions blank. Thanks to his lessons, I improved enough to complete all the questions on my university exams.

He doesn’t just teach—he gives homework and makes sure you truly understand the material. I took music theory and music history lessons with him, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a patient and dedicated teacher.

Studying piano with Andrés Uribe, I not only learned how to play the instrument, but he also taught me to love music. Through his guidance, I was able to understand both the complexities of concert piano performance and music theory, as well as the lives and struggles of great composers and the beauty behind the aesthetics of music.

Andrés es un músico apasionado que transmite su amor por el piano en cada clase, lo conozco desde hace más de 15 años.
Además de ser un gran pianista, tiene muchísima paciencia para acompañar el proceso de aprendizaje, adaptándose al ritmo de cada estudiante. Explica con claridad, se comunica de forma excelente tanto oralmente como por escrito y siempre crea un ambiente cercano y motivador. Lo recomiendo totalmente a cualquiera que quiera aprender o mejorar su nivel de piano.

I found Andrés through friends of mine in Vienna who were already taking lessons with him. What I value most about his classes is that they go far beyond the sheet music. He has a deep knowledge of music history that makes every lesson genuinely interesting, you don't just learn piano technique, you learn to understand music in context, which makes the whole experience much more meaningful. He is patient, respectful, and from the very first class he took the time to understand where I was and where I wanted to go with my learning. Throughout the process I've also been introduced to a wide and varied piano repertoire spanning different composers and musical periods, which has completely broadened my musical horizons.

Really enjoyed learning with Andrés! With an easy-going personality, Andrés manages different topics to explore the wonderful world of music! A great fan of Bach, he always looks the way to link the great composers with the actual music.
