A bit about me: I know Italy from real, lived experience — its people, its pace, its way of doing things.
I've had my own home in Turin, Rome and Florence. I know Italy's big cities and small towns, its business world and holiday spots, its art, culture, seaside and rolling hills — not from hearsay, but because I actually lived it.
Today I live in a village of around 1,000 people, in the Langhe area — wine country, great food, old medieval villages. Just a short distance from Turin, Italy's first capital: elegant, understated, with a style that's truly one of a kind.

For years I've been meeting people, teaching, discussing, listening, sharing, negotiating and finding common ground with dozens and dozens of Italians and Europeans.
Not like a teacher talking down to students, but as a friend, a colleague, someone in charge. Face to face, sometimes in tough situations, always straightforward.
After 38 years as an Executive in large industrial groups, I completed a master's in Italian language teaching for foreigners in Siena, earned my DITALS I and II certifications, and started teaching.
Out of love for my language, and because I genuinely enjoy it.
I taught conflict management on the tax law master's programme in Turin for four years.
I'm currently helping cultural associations in Turin by giving Italian language and culture lessons to immigrants in my city.
