Über Harsh

I am a university student and passionate swimmer who started swimming in the 5th grade and later became a national-level swimmer in India. I enjoy helping students feel confident in the water while learning proper swimming techniques in a safe and supportive environment. My lessons are adapted to each student’s level, whether beginner or intermediate.

Are you ready to feel more confident in the water, improve your swimming technique, or prepare for competition?

 I am a national-level competitive swimmer with 12 years of swimming experience, offering private swimming lessons in Berlin for children, adults, beginners, intermediate swimmers, and competitive athletes.

 My lessons are ideal for:
  Complete beginners learning to swim
  Adults or children who are afraid of water and want to build confidence safely
  Intermediate swimmers who want to improve technique, breathing, endurance, and efficiency
  Swimmers preparing for competitions or performance goals
  English-speaking internationals and expats looking for swimming lessons in English

 Every lesson is fully adapted to your level, pace, and personal goals in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.

  What you can expect in lessons:
• Water confidence & overcoming fear of water
 • Floating, breathing, kicking & body position
 • Freestyle, breaststroke & stroke improvement
 • Swimming efficiency, endurance & technique correction
 • Competition preparation and performance improvement

 I focus on structured progress so you improve step by step while enjoying the process and building real confidence in the water.

  Lesson Options:
• Private lesson (1 student, 60 min): €50
• 2 students (friends/siblings, 60 min): €45 per person
 • Small group (3 students, 60 min): €40 per person

 Lessons are available in English.

  • How old were you when you started playing sports?

    I was 5 years old when I first started playing sports. Initially, I played badminton for about two years, but I wasn’t fully dedicated, I didn’t feel a strong inner connection to it. After that, I tried cricket, but again, it didn’t give me a real sense of purpose.

    Everything changed when I was 8 years old. My father took me to a swimming pool to learn swimming. Watching him and other swimmers perform with such skill inspired me deeply. That’s when I found my true passion and purpose in swimming.
  • What are your favorite sports? And which sports would you love to try?

    My favorite sports are swimming, cycling, and MMA. I also grew up playing wrestling, kabaddi, and cricket with my friends, which helped me build a strong athletic foundation.

    I’m always open to exploring new challenges, especially in combat sports and endurance based activities that push both mental and physical limits.
  • Tell us how sport benefits us in everyday life!

    Swimming is not just a life skill… it’s a complete lifestyle. It helps you feel confident, energized, and flexible. It reduces stress, builds discipline, and improves cardiovascular health.

    Sport in general transforms your daily life. It boosts your mood, sharpens your focus, and gives you the energy to handle challenges better. Once you start, you don’t just train your body you strengthen your mindset.
  • Which sporting achievement has shaped or inspired you the most?

    One of the most defining phases of my journey was preparing for nationals. I trained twice a day, five days a week, and sometimes a single session included up to 8 kilometers of swimming.

    That period truly shaped my mentality. It taught me how to stay consistent despite fatigue and self-doubt. I learned that real growth always happens outside your comfort zone.
  • What has been your greatest success as an athlete so far?

    My greatest success is not just winning the 100-meter freestyle at the State Championship or competing at the national level.

    It’s all those days when I didn’t feel like training but still showed up. Those moments built my character and that’s when I truly felt like a champion.
  • Which professional athlete would you like to train with?

    I would love to swim with Michael Phelps, who has always been my biggest inspiration in swimming.

    I would also love to train with Cristiano Ronaldo because of his incredible discipline, consistency, and mindset.
  • How do you motivate a student during tough moments?

    I focus on understanding each student’s personal goals and constantly remind them why they started. During difficult moments, I break challenges into smaller, achievable steps and keep encouraging them.

    I lead by example and create a positive, energetic environment. Motivation may come and go, but discipline and the right mindset are what truly drive long-term success.
  • What makes you a super athlete or a super professional?

    I truly understand the journey of an athlete… the ups and downs, the struggles, and the moments where progress feels stuck. I’ve personally faced these challenges and overcome them.

    That experience allows me to guide my students not just physically, but mentally as well. I help them build confidence, discipline, and a strong mindset and push them to become the best version of themselves.
