Über Alba
My name is Alba and I am from Barcelona.
I am a final-year student finishing my Bioinformatics degree in Munich.
In Barcelona, I gave private lessons to high-school students aged 12–17 in biology, maths, Spanish and Catalan, and also offered tutoring sessions focused on time organisation, helping the students make the most of their time.
I like meeting people, I am curious and enjoy speaking (even when I am teaching). I like teaching and seeing how students improve and become more confident in the subject that we are working on :)

The speaking classes help the student become more confident using Spanish, describing ordinary situations and learning using a trial, error and correction method.
I like to organise the classes in a way that gives students the freedom to speak about different topics, such as how their day was, movies, sports or hobbies.
During the classes, I adapt the conversations and topics to the student's level and interests, introducing new vocabulary and expressions that can be useful in real-life situations.
The classes can also be adapted to the student's specific goals, for example improving fluency, pronunciation or vocabulary.
The goal is to create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere to develop the students' speaking abilities.
This format is targeted at those students who have a minimum knowledge of Spanish.
