Über Ghazal
My name is Ghazal and I am a German teacher. I grew up with two mother tongues, which are German and Farsi. I also speak english, Hindi and a bit of spanish.
I graduated from University of Hildesheim / Germany in Philosophy and Media. I teach German since 2016 and work also as a translator with ministry of migration in Germany. I have experience with teaching beginners as well as advance students. So it doesnt matter where you are on your path of learning german, I would be glad to help you reach your goals.

Mein Name ist Ghazal und ich bin Deutschlehrerin. Deutsch und Persisch sind meine Muttersprachen . Ich spreche auch Englisch, Hindi und ein bisschen Spanisch. Ich habe an der Universität Hildesheim Philosophie und Medien studiert. Ich unterrichte seit 5 Jahren Deutsch und arbeite auch als Übersetzerin beim Bundesamt für Migration in Deutschland.

For me teaching a language is a creative and extremley interesting process.
My approach to teaching and the methods I use vary from student to student and their goals. For me it is important to discuss the individual needs and expectations at the very beginning. Based on this, I can design the learning material and make an individual learning plan. I do make sure to give each student a strong grammatic basic, but from personal experience I also know that this is not enough to speak a language fluently. To help you overcome the fear of speaking a foreign language, I also focus a lot on the improvement of an accurate pronunciation and speaking / communicating skills.
Langauge is a living phenomena which flows and evolves within a culture in peoples every day life. Unerstanding the culture and its conventions is necessary if you want to gain deeper understanding of the language and prepare yourself for real life situations. So it is also my task bring german culture to you and help you understanding it! Ill use class material in form of texts, videos and audios which reflect peoples every day life in Germany and shows their costums, habits and life style. We will also discuss very specific daily life situations on street, at work or at school and practice speaking and correct communication in that specific context.

Für mich ist das Unterrichten einer Sprache ein kreativer und äußerst interessanter Prozess.
Meine Herangehensweise an den Unterricht und die Methoden, die ich verwende, variieren von Schüler zu Schüler und deren Zielen. Für mich ist es wichtig, gleich zu Beginn die individuellen Bedürfnisse und Erwartungen zu besprechen. Auf dieser Basis kann ich das Lernmaterial gestalten und einen individuellen Lernplan erstellen. Ich achte zwar darauf, jedem Schüler eine solide grammatikalische Basis zu vermitteln, aber aus eigener Erfahrung weiß ich auch, dass dies nicht ausreicht, um eine Sprache fließend zu sprechen. Um Ihnen zu helfen, die Angst vor dem Sprechen einer Fremdsprache zu überwinden, konzentriere ich mich auch sehr auf die Verbesserung einer genauen Aussprache und der Sprech-/Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
