Über Jordi
Hi, I’m Jordi, a native Spanish and Catalan speaker from the Barcelona area. I currently teach adult learners online and help them turn Spanish from something they recognise into something they can actually use in real conversations.
I work especially well with people preparing to live, travel or work in Spain, and with learners who want to feel more confident speaking with local people, colleagues, friends or family.
As a language learner myself—I am currently studying Italian, Portuguese and Russian—I understand where learners hesitate and how to explain difficult points clearly. I enjoy combining a relaxed, human atmosphere with clear goals, useful feedback and steady progress. English can be used whenever it helps you move forward.

These are practical, personalised Spanish lessons for adults who want to use the language in real life: moving to Spain, speaking with local people, travelling, working, or feeling more confident in everyday conversations.
We start by identifying the situations that matter most to you. In each lesson, you will speak from the beginning, learn useful vocabulary and natural expressions, and practise through realistic conversations and role-plays. I correct the language that will make the biggest difference—grammar, wording and pronunciation—without turning the class into a school-style lecture.
Lessons are suitable for complete beginners through intermediate learners. I can use English to clarify difficult points when helpful, then guide you towards speaking more Spanish each week. You will receive a short recap and focused practice between lessons, so you know exactly what to work on.
If your goal is practical, confident Spanish rather than studying for the sake of studying, these lessons are for you.
