Über Polina

I am a PhD candidate in Biomedicine, with a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biomedicine from University College London. Science is not just my field of study—it is something I live and breathe. This passion allows me to teach in a way that is engaging, inspiring, and deeply connected to real-world biology. I offer lessons to students from secondary school to university level, combining academic excellence with hands-on laboratory experience to make even the most complex concepts clear and fascinating. Having earned a 7 in IB Higher Level Biology and continued to advance in the scientific field, I understand how to guide students through both content mastery and exam success. Whether you are preparing for IB, A-levels, or university studies, I provide a supportive, professional, and motivating learning environment. I teach in both English and Spanish and am dedicated to helping every student gain confidence, think like a scientist, and enjoy the learning process. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, passionate, and reliable biology tutor, I would be honoured to support your journey.

Über den Unterricht

I teach biology to students from secondary school to university level, offering a clear and engaging approach that connects theory to real-life applications. With a background in biological studies and hands-on experimental experience, I explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand and memorable. My lessons typically begin with a brief overview of the topic, followed by a detailed explanation of key ideas, and then further exploration of any areas the student finds particularly interesting. I also incorporate practice through questions, past papers, or diagrams, and finish each session with a summary and time for questions. Having achieved a 7 in IB Higher Level Biology and continued to excel in the field, I am especially well-suited to support IB students with both content and exam strategies. I am adaptable, patient, and committed to helping students think critically rather than simply memorise, and I can teach in either English or Spanish depending on their needs.
