Über Dominic
I’m a jazz pianist from New Zealand living in Berlin and I’ve performed internationally with award-winning artists. I've been playing and performing music for the last 12 years, specialising in jazz and improvised music.
I studied in New Zealand, earning a Bachelor of Music in jazz piano performance and composition and some of my more notable teachers have been Aaron Parks and Taylor Eigsti.
I've been teaching piano for about 8 years now, and have been living here in Berlin for just over 4 years.

Maybe you are a complete beginner, or maybe you already know a lot and you’d like to expand your skills with some guidance and accountability. I am happy to share what I know with anyone. All ages & skill levels are welcome!

I like to give my students the tools to teach themselves and I believe learning music can be fun and engaging, even when beginning.
I'll ask, 'what do you want to be able to do with the piano?' And then I can help you make a plan for how to get there.
I’m an internationally active professional pianist and piano teacher. I have over 10 years of experience playing and performing music, specialising in jazz and improvised music. I studied in New Zealand, earning a Bachelor of Music specialising in jazz piano and composition. I have been teaching piano for over 7 years now, and have been living here in Berlin for just over 4 years.
Location:
At the moment I can travel to teach at your location (especially within 7km or so of Neukölln).
I am in the process of moving to a new apartment with my partner. From September onwards, I will offer lessons from a music studio in the new place in Plänterwald.
Language:
I generally speak and teach in English, though I can also speak German to around B1 level.
Available times:
My teaching hours are between 10am and 8pm, every day of the week except for Saturdays.
