Über Artemis
Artemis Tsakiri is a visual artist and educator based in Zürich, Switzerland.
She holds an MA in Fine Arts from the Visual and Applied Arts Department at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where she graduated in 2018.
During her studies, she also attended the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland, specializing in digital and experimental printmaking.
For the past three years, she has been working as a self-employed drawing teacher in Zürich,
running her own art studio artworkshops.club.
She is also an active member of Material – Raum für Buchkultur (materialismus.ch), an independent bookshop and exhibition space, where she organizes drawing workshops and curates exhibitions.
With background in fine arts and experience in Graphic Design helps her approach work with sensitivity but also with structured creativity exploring the area of editorial design, typography and branding.
Her practice focus on the intersections of fine art, printmaking, design, education, fostering community of art spaces.

My goal is to exchange the fear of uncertainty with the joy of discovery when you find yourself outside your comfort zone.
You will learn the fundamentals, such as understanding shapes, proportions, shading, and perspective.
You will experiment with different materials and techniques with focus to raise confidence through various drawing approaches including still life, life drawing and portraiture.
