Über Fernando
I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. I studied Singing in Sinaloa Opera Studio. I moved to Germany in 2016 and studied then at Internationales Institut für Gesangskunst.
I've been on stage since I was 11 years old.
In the last four years my repertoire has leaned towards the path of Art Song (Lied, chanson, tango, etc) having a special affection to german composers.
I studied also graphic design, and I am passionate about painting, drawing, and spend hours at the easel in my own atelier.
I gladly read about history of art and philosophy.
I love contact with nature.

In class we go through a list of themes and exercises that prepare body and also mind to sing.
We will get familiar with topics such as body awareness, correlation between tension-relaxation, breathing, ways of preparing our instrument (the whole body) before singing, vocal exercises that work in two ways: as warming up for the vocal cords and muscles involved in the process and as technical training which subsequently will be implemented in the repertory, the difference between spoken voice and singing voice and oftentimes we will speak about free resonance.
Lessons are aimed to young people and adults of all ages who have always wanted to try singing lessons. It's important to know that previous academic musical knowledge is not a requirement, only an open mindset and eagerness to discover your own sound and its possibilities. Having a healthy singing technique is as important as enjoying making music.
