• How is it that you speak this language fluently? Does this have to do with your origins or did a teacher once awaken a passion for it in you?

  Spanish is my native language, I like to share stories and all kinds of topics in various languages, but when my students are more advanced, practically immediately, there is the possibility of achieving these deep conversations.

• Name a personality, whether living, historical or fictional, who best represents this culture for you!

  Cantinflas is a character created and played by the Mexican Mario Moreno who made a complete deconstruction of the Spanish and language in general to turn everyday situations into something comical. I don't recommend starting to learn with him, but for more advanced students, it will surely be a very fun activity to practice the language with one of his films.

• Is there a word, expression, tradition or typical behaviour in the language you teach that particularly impresses or amuses you?

  Since Spanish is spoken in many countries, I find it very interesting to analyze local terms and languages and their differences. Some words that are in normal use for one region or country in another may even be bad words.

• Why do you think it is so important to master this language (be it for school/study, work or personal reasons)?

  It seems to me to be a language that, although it is not so easy to learn perfectly, it is fun and on a professional level it has many advantages due to the number of countries and where it is spoken.

• What is the particular difficulty when it comes to learning this language and why is it particularly worthwhile?

  Perhaps when conjugating verbs and subjunctives it becomes difficult to advance to the next level, but once mastered it has many advantages such as the possibility of learning another language based on Latin.

• Is there an anecdote from your professional life or your school days that you would like to tell us about in connection with this language?

  In work environments where no one else spoke Spanish, I liked to teach classes or rather teach some phrases to my colleagues. Of course, at that point I didn't charge, it was totally free.

• Help us to get to know you a little better and tell us a little more about your previous travels and/or stays abroad (in relation to the language being taught or in general).

  In general when I travel to other countries, whether for a short time, I like to learn some phrases or words to be able to have a better immersion in the culture and in some way show respect for the local people. At times and in some places it has seemed to be counterproductive if I have a lot of mistakes, but it is rewarding to see people's reaction when you try to speak their language.

• What makes you a superprof? (in addition to successfully mastering several languages ...)

  If you hesitate to expand the possibility of having a collection with the person or people with whom I work, without crossing the line of professionalism but trying to emphasize and not forget that they are another human being with a completely different universe in their mind.
