Über Xabier
I am fascinated by languages in general, but I dedicate myself professionally to teaching Spanish and Basque, expanding my knowledge and experience year after year. I studied a university degree as a primary school teacher in Spain and in The Netherlands. After that, I went to the United States to get a postgraduate degree as a language teacher, at the same time I taught Spanish to Americans. At this moment in time, I’m working in a trilingual school where I mostly teach Spanish.

I think that the most important part about learning a language is the technique used to teach since it directly influences the effectiveness of learning. For that reason, I will use professional techniques to increase motivation, provoking to think and communicate in the new language. Some examples are: role-playing games, analyze audiovisual content, simulations of real conversations and debates, exercises to learn how to think in the new language, cultural inmersion ... All with the goal of making the learning experience as pleasant as possible.
