Über Joe
Hello everyone, I’m Joe, a professional bass player based in Berlin. With over a decade of experience, I’ve performed as both a concert and studio session bassist, and toured internationally with three different bands. Today, I also teach bass, helping students develop strong technique, groove, and stage confidence. In addition to my work as a bassist, I’m an active K-pop producer and songwriter. My collaborations include artists such as Wheein (MAMAMOO), VIVIZ, UNIS, NOWZ, and Hwang Min-hyun, with releases spanning South Korea, Japan, Europe, the UK, and the US. Earlier in my career, I worked as a producer and A&R at Rock Records Taiwan. As part of the production team for Shi Shi (Sun Sheng Xi)’s album Shi’s Journey, I received the Golden Melody Award for Best Mandarin Album (30th GMA). I also compose for commercials and have worked with brands including BMW, L’Oréal, Sony, and Adidas.

I offer bass, music production, and K-Pop production lessons for: 35€ /30 min 40€ / 45 min 45€ / 60 min Online lessons are also possible with a professional camera setup (I teach students outside Berlin as well). The first trial lesson is free. -Bass lesson: During lessons, I share my practical bass skills, music theory and my knowledge of music production, arrangement, and songwriting.
