Hello, I am Roy, and I am here to help you feel ready and confident for your Cambridge speaking exam.
With 23 years of English teaching experience and 14 years as a qualified Cambridge Speaking Examiner, I have conducted thousands of official exams from Key (A2) to Advanced (C1).
Because I work as an examiner, I do not just teach the language—I understand the official evaluation criteria, the typical areas where candidates lose marks, and the best strategies to help you achieve your goals.

The main goal of these sessions is to help you boost your Cambridge speaking score as efficiently as possible. I customize every single lesson to match your personal needs and learning goals.
Everything begins with a free 30-minute consultation. We will use this time to run through a quick mock speaking test so I can check your current level. Right after, I will provide you with helpful feedback and a practical plan to upgrade your skills.
During our sessions, we will focus on the most important areas for exam success:
Pacing and Time: Learning how to use your time wisely so you can speak fully and confidently.
Key Scoring Areas: Spotting the common moments where candidates miss out on essential marks.
Clear Structure: Organizing your thoughts logically for every single part of the test.
Better Vocabulary: Learning natural, advanced words and expressions that easily lift your score.
Handling the Unexpected: Building the flexibility to deal with any surprises during the exam.
By understanding how the exam actually works, you will develop the genuine confidence you need to do your best on the big day.
Please note: While we will focus mostly on the Speaking paper, I am also happy to help you prepare for the Reading, Writing, and Listening sections as well.
