Cello Lessons (ENG/DE/ITA) – Technique, Body Awareness & Breathing, Tension Release, History of the Repertoire and Performers

Perfekt! I've had four lessons with Olmo so far. He is really knowledgeable, empathetic, and is helping me achieve my short-term and long-term cello goals. I really look forward to our weekly lessons.

Perfekt! My cello teacher creates a very positive and motivating learning atmosphere. He is consistently friendly and patient, which makes it easy to experiment, make mistakes, and grow as a musician.

What I particularly appreciate is his ability to break down complicated passages into small, manageable sections. This makes challenging repertoire feel accessible and allows for steady, structured progress.

He also integrates various ways of learning — technical exercises, musical interpretation, and reflective practice — which supports a deeper understanding of both technique and expression.

As an adult learner, I especially value that he allows me to decide what I would like to work on. At the same time, he is honest and professional when a piece exceeds my current level, guiding me toward repertoire that is challenging yet realistic. This balance of autonomy and expertise is extremely important to me.

Overall, his lessons are thoughtful and highly encouraging.
