Über Sasha
Hello there!
My name is Sasha. I was born in Belarus, have been living in Europe for the past 11 years and have been actively learning and using English since the age of 6. I have a wide range of interests, including sewing, knitting, reading, and baking.
I’ve studied both general and German philology and have mostly worked in English-speaking environments, handIling official communications for art creatives. At this point, I feel more comfortable expressing myself in English than in any other language I speak (including my mother tongue ;) ).

My teaching approach is a bit non-conventional and tailored to adults. I understand that it's hard to learn a new language or improve skills through traditional methods when you are an adult. My goal is to make learning engaging, practical and entertaining; to create real-life scenarios in our lessons, like talking to colleagues, debating, or having casual conversations with friends.
So we will read articles, discuss, write and debate. My aim is to introduce a lot of new vocabulary seamlessly, show you the differences and the use cases and help you integrate all that new knowledge confidently into everyday situations. We’ll also be reviewing grammar to address any gaps.
My classes are ideal for those who already have some English knowledge but are not confident using it and/or want to polish their language skills.

I'd highly recommend Sasha as an English teacher, especially for those who want to practise speaking and improve their grammar.
I can see that Sasha puts a lot of thought into each of our lessons and offers discussion topics that are tailored specifically for me. I haven't told her what I'm interested in, but she seems to know what I want and can suggest things I'd be interested in. I really appreciate the personal touch and the relaxed, but trusting atmosphere in each of our lessons. At the same time, I can see a clear structure and result.
