Über Azra
Hi!
My name is Azra, and I was born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegowina. There, I studied landscape architecture even tho that’s not a carrier path I’m following at the moment.
I am an avid book reader and enjoy writing. I also enjoy music and art, and I’m convinced that my unexplainable psychology knowledge means that I was a very successful psychologist in my previous life. I am an easygoing, open-minded person with a wide range of interests.
Five years ago, I moved to Germany and discovered how complex language as a matter is and how hard and exhausting it can be to deal with it in everyday life. I was without any friends, and at work, I often felt stupid for not being able to fully express myself or understand others, and honestly, I don’t want anyone else to feel like I did. So, no matter why you’re looking to improve your English knowledge, I’m here to help in any way I can.

As someone who came to Germany five years ago with no prior knowledge of the German language, I can perfectly understand how overwhelming it can be to find yourself in the situation where you could share a lot but you are limited by the language barrier. That understanding gives me an opportunity to approach teaching in the manner I wish others took with me. I am aware that there are certain things that need to be thought oldschool but there is also a lot that can be thought by using everyday habits and experiences. Let us make learning interesting and talk about your favorite artist or Netflix shows that you like. Let’s discuss books and write essays on the topic you find relevant.
Those are the ways one can take a new language and make it a part of day to day life. Learning something new through the things you already love, it doesn’t get better than that.
