Über Bethany
Hello! I’m from the UK and hold a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Linguistics. I recently relocated to Switzerland and am currently learning German, so I understand the challenges of acquiring a new language and can empathise with my students' journey.
With my academic background, I have a deep understanding of language structure, phonetics, and effective communication strategies. My experience spans tutoring individuals of various levels and ages, and I bring both a professional and approachable teaching style to help you feel confident in your English skills.
I completed a year abroad in Spain as part of my studies. There I worked as an English tutor across all age groups (from young children up to adults). This included helping children with their school English and homework, conversation practice for students who wanted to learn for fun, as well as helping students prepare for Cambridge English exams.
As a language learner myself, I value patience and adaptability, which I incorporate into my teaching approach. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine specific skills, I’m here to support your progress with lessons tailored to your needs and goals.
