Über Zeynep

Hello! I'm Zeynep, an English tutor with four years of teaching experience, currently living and studying in Switzerland.

I graduated from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education, where I developed a strong foundation in teaching methods and understanding students' learning needs.

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), Switzerland, where my studies are conducted entirely in English.

I hold an **IELTS Academic score of 7.0 (C1 level)** and use English daily for academic projects, presentations, international teamwork, and communication.

Over the past four years, I have taught English to students of different ages and proficiency levels through individual and group lessons.

What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing my students become more confident, especially when they start expressing themselves naturally in a language they once found difficult.

I believe that every student learns differently, and I genuinely enjoy helping people discover learning methods that work best for them.

For me, teaching is not simply about explaining rules. It's about helping students develop practical skills, gain confidence, and realise their potential.

**Learn English naturally, speak confidently, and make real progress!**

My lessons are designed to help students not only understand English but also use it confidently in real-life situations.

With four years of teaching experience, I adapt each lesson to my students' individual needs, learning styles, and goals.

**What makes my lessons different?**

I focus on practical English, useful expressions, and natural collocations rather than simply memorising grammar rules.

In each lesson, we explore expressions that native speakers commonly use. In the following lesson, I encourage students to incorporate these expressions into speaking activities. I provide personalised feedback, correct mistakes, and suggest more natural or advanced ways to express the same ideas.

**My lessons include:**

- Speaking practice and real-life conversations
- Grammar and vocabulary development
- Listening, reading, and writing activities
- IELTS and TOEFL preparation support
- Academic and professional English
- Travel English and everyday communication
- Personalised learning materials and feedback

I offer individual and group lessons for students at different proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners.

**Each lesson normally lasts 60 minutes**, but the duration can be adjusted to your needs.

I also offer a **free 40-minute trial lesson**, where we can discuss your goals, assess your current level, and experience my teaching approach together.

My goal is simple: to help you stop translating every sentence in your head and start expressing yourself naturally and confidently in English!
