Über Chris
I am a Start-up brewery owner from Reading, England. I moved to Hamburg 6 years ago to play semi-professional Bundesliga hockey and fell in love with the city, the people and the culture. having previously studied chemistry at Oxford University and following various roles in corporate entities, I decided to follow my passion for beer and brewing to study formally as a brewer and start my own beer company. I, together with my business partner, now run two pubs and look forward to growing in the years to come.

My method is based on ‘immersion’ in conversation and culture. For me, through my experience, the best way to learn a language is to live it and learn it in context - that means absorbing the language through modern popular culture; music, art, radio, print, press and more. Language can not be rushed and no student is the same, so working together we will find your common interests and the areas where your English can flourish, as well as your passion and interest for the subject matter itself.
