I had five one-to-one lessons with Gijs to prepare for an English-language exam required for my UK visa application. My English was already at an advanced level, and I was aiming for a strong C1 result.
I wanted to improve grammatical accuracy, broaden my active vocabulary and correct any bad habits. As it had been some time since I had last studied in a formal learning environment, I needed support with exam technique as well.
