Über Tatyana
Hi there, I'm Tatyana, an expert American Business English & Conversation teacher. Originally from Mclean, Virginia, I've been teaching and living in Berlin, Germany over 10 years.
With a background in performance and in positive psychology, I know how important fun and engagement are to success in learning and prioritize both your hitting your aims and enjoyment along the way.
I have 12 years of experience teaching English to all sorts of individuals and groups and know how to help you succeed in mastering English. Also a coach and meditator, I can offer you a calm space where you can feel relaxed and confident to share, ideal for speaking and learning.

My learning method is all about keeping things fun, fresh and relevant to your needs - and giving you feedback that you can effectively process and integrate, so you can see progress that feels great and enjoy yourself along the way.
We work with what is most relevant to you and interests you most. We'll decide your aims and the materials you'd like to work with at the start of our working together. It may be working with projects / written material you are creating at work. It may be working with a netflix series or a book. Or it can be discussing wins and challenges of the past week and working on key grammar and vocabulary as it arises.
Half of each class is geared toward talking. The second half is geared toward feedback based on your sharings. We'll look at what you did really well as well as things to be aware of - key grammar points, vocabulary, pronunciation that came up as we talked. Then we do a quick quiz to review.
We keep note of our learnings over the sessions and review, revisit, exercise and check learning with fun quizzes, so that you can really integrate what you learn.
After many years of teaching, this is the most effective and fun approach, building on your natural language and interests.
