Über Jake
Hello! I'm a former high school English and History teacher currently pursuing a graduate degree in Austria. I've taught students from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including non-native English speakers while living in Hungary and members of a local Burmese community in the United States.
I tailor each lesson to your individual goals, whether you're looking to improve your grammar, become more confident in conversational English, strengthen your writing, or better understand history. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building practical skills and confidence.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy history, films, board games, and spending time with my wife and our dog, Pepper. If you're looking for a knowledgeable tutor who enjoys the occasional "dad" joke, I'd love to help you reach your goals!
