Über Steven
I am a native English speaker from Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on linguistics. I have studied Japanese, Spanish and Arabic, and also have lived abroad in Mexico, Japan, Thailand and Germany. I particularly enjoy breaking down the phonetics of English to help my students express themselves clearly, and I also have an interest in clearing up doubts about grammar.

I first like to assess the level of the student so that I can choose appropriate materials that optimize the learning experience. In class, I use a scaffolding structure, moving from more guided activities in a session to those in which a student can more freely practice the material. We can work together to define goals and make adjustments as necessary.
