Über Alice
Hi, I’m Alice!
I am currently a Master student at the university of Bern with a Major in English literary studies and a minor in Spanish.
Through my academic career I had the pleasure of learning and working closely with languages, therefore I am well familiar with the struggles in learning them. My goal is to help others feel more confident using English, whether that means improving their casual speech, preparing an exam, or getting support with writing and schoolwork.
I aim to create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I’m patient, approachable and happy to adapt to each student’s individual needs and goals.

Students with all levels of English are welcome. The lessons will be tailored to each students’ individual needs, whether that may be improving grammar and vocabulary, becoming more confident speaking English or school assignments.
The lessons will be interactive and relaxed, with an emphasis on actually using the language rather than simply memorising rules. Depending on your goals, a lesson might include conversation practice, grammar and vocabulary exercises, working through texts together, or reviewing and improving written work.
Additionally, with my background in English Literature and Linguistics, I can also offer support with academic writing, essay structure, textual analysis and literature.
