Über Anna
I’m a freelance photographer based in Berlin with over 15 years of experience in portrait, fashion, and digital photography. I hold a Master of Arts in Photography from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients — from musicians and DJs like Chelsea Wolfe, Son Lux, A Place to Bury Strangers, MØ, and Monolink, to brands and individuals seeking compelling visual storytelling.
My work has been published in magazines such as NEON, Contributor, and Kaltblut, and exhibited internationally through festivals, art fairs, and both group and solo exhibitions. I have received scholarships and grants from institutions like the Goethe-Institut and François Institut, which supported fully funded artist residencies and programs across Japan, South Korea, Italy, France, Greece, Belgium, and Turkey.
Beyond the artistic and editorial fields, I have extensive experience in e-commerce, business portraits, event photography, and weddings — which has given me a strong understanding of the digital photography world and diverse client needs.

I teach how to be creative with digital photography, focusing mostly on working with natural light — both outdoors and indoors — without using a studio. My classes cover portraits, fashion, product photography, and more.
We’ll explore how to find unique locations, angles, and compositions to create interesting images using the environment and simple props around us. You’ll learn how to work with non-professional and professional models, directing them to get the best results.
For online classes, we’ll adapt by finding creative angles at home and using everyday objects as props.
You’ll gain practical skills like:
Using your camera and lenses (basics and beyond)
Communicating effectively to get great shots from any model
Organizing photo shoots and assembling your creative team
Creating mood boards
Editing photos to enhance your images and develop your unique style
Beyond shooting and editing techniques, I’ll share insider knowledge on:
How to make money with your photography
Platforms for showcasing your work, both commercial and artistic
How to submit your photos to magazines, contests, open calls, and artist residencies
