Über Negar
Hi! My name is Negar, and I’m currently an Oberstufenschülerin in Year 13, completing my Abitur in Germany.
I grew up multilingual and speak English, German, Persian and Kurdish fluently. I also have several years of experience as a translator, which has taught me a lot about languages, communication and explaining ideas clearly.
I decided to offer English tutoring because I enjoy helping others understand things that may initially seem difficult. As a student myself, I understand school pressure, exams and how frustrating it can be to struggle with a subject. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
Being multilingual also allows me to support students from different language backgrounds, especially those who are just beginning to learn English.
I’m patient and open-minded and enjoy working with children and teenagers. My goal is to make learning English approachable and help my students become more confident using it.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, needs and goals and prepare suitable exercises in advance.
I can help with grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, homework, school assignments and preparation for tests and exams.
I also offer English conversation and speaking practice. If you understand English but feel nervous speaking or are afraid of making mistakes, we can practice in a relaxed environment. Through conversation and speaking exercises, I’ll help you become more comfortable and confident using English.
For younger students and absolute beginners, I start with the basics and explain everything step by step. Since I speak English, German, Persian and Kurdish, I can explain difficult concepts in another language when needed, which can be especially helpful for beginners.
Whether you want to improve your grades, prepare for an exam, practice speaking or start from zero, I’ll adapt our lessons to you.
