Über Jackline
Hi - I'm Jackie. I'm Canadian, based in Berlin and I've spent my career moving between two worlds that look very different on paper but turn out to have a lot in common: international business and language teaching.
I hold a Master of Engineering and have worked for nearly a decade in global supply chain and logistics roles at companies like McKesson and Baxter - the kind of environment where a single unclear sentence in a meeting can cost a project real time. Before that, I taught Business English in Madrid to professionals at KPMG, Generali, and Acciona, helping them prepare for the same kinds of high-stakes conversations I later had myself.
I care about getting results. My clients are busy professionals who don't have time for vague lessons - they need to speak more clearly in a specific meeting next Tuesday. That's what I help with. I'm patient, direct and I'll tell you honestly what's working and what needs sharpening. The goal is always the same: you leave each session feeling more confident and more capable at work.

My lessons are built around your real working life, not a textbook. In our first session (which is free), we identify what you actually need - whether that's preparing for a specific meeting, sharpening your interview answers, presenting more clearly to senior stakeholders, or building confidence in day-to-day communication with international colleagues.
Each session typically follows the same rhythm: a short warm-up conversation to activate your English, focused work on your priority topic (often using real material from your job - emails, slide decks, meeting agendas), targeted feedback on pronunciation, structure, and word choice, and a clear takeaway you can apply the same week.
I work best with adults at B1 level or above who already have a foundation and want to perform, not just practise. I also teach teenagers (Grade 9+) and children (6+) on request, with the same structured approach adapted for age.
What makes my lessons different: I've sat in the meetings you're preparing for. I spent nearly a decade in international supply chain and logistics roles before I started teaching, and I taught Business English to professionals at KPMG, Generali, and Acciona in Madrid. You get both the language and the context.
