Über Jian
I am a British-born, native English speaker with a degree in Comparative Literature and Culture. My love of languages and different cultures has always been a big part of who I am and what drives me. I am also fluent in Italian, which can be a particular advantage for Italian-speaking students.
I want to share my knowledge because I believe learning a language should be about more than simply memorizing rules. It is about communication, confidence and learning to express yourself naturally. My goal is to help students develop an instinct for English, so that speaking becomes something that feels comfortable rather than something they have to constantly think about.

My lessons are relaxed, conversational and centered around using English in a natural way. Rather than following a strict textbook or rigid lesson plan, we will talk about topics that interest you and use conversation to improve your English along the way.
I will help you refine your sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and overall flow, while pointing out small changes that can make your English sound more natural and fluent. The goal is to speak "correct" English, whilst being able to express yourself as a native speaker would.
