I studied with Josh for around one year and had an amazing experience. He offers a very well rounded and methodical approach to cello, including practicing methods, technical skills, and musicality. I improved significantly in the year I studied with him, particularly in my bowhand technique. I also appreciated his flexibility with times and locations, he was always very good at balancing both schedules. Overall Josh was a great teacher who helped me appreciate everything the cello had to offer.

Josh is an intelligent, ambitious, caring individual who has a curiosity and passion for music and teaching that set him apart from many. I am very proud to have seen him grow through our time working together with him as my student for nearly 3 years, and I am eager to witness the great things he does with students of his own. I wholeheartedly recommend him to those who are looking for a teacher.
