Hi, I'm Iris! I’ve also worked as a tutor and counselor, so listening carefully and helping people feel supported are important parts of who I am.
I’m thoughtful and organized, but I like bringing warmth and a little lightness to learning. I’m a big fan of clear plans, honest conversations, and celebrating small wins—like finally using a tricky phrase without translating it in your head first! I believe confidence grows when you feel comfortable asking questions, trying things out, and being yourself.
I care about helping people feel seen, respected, and proud of their progress. I’m always learning too, and I bring that same curiosity and commitment to supporting others.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and structured. I explain new ideas clearly, then help you practise them through conversation, short exercises, and real-life examples. I encourage questions and give supportive, specific feedback so you understand not only what to improve, but how.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in and a clear goal. We’ll learn or review a topic, practise it together, and then use it independently in speaking or writing. We’ll finish by reviewing your progress and deciding what to focus on next.
In our first lesson, we’ll discuss your current level, goals, and preferred way of learning. Then we can make a plan that works for you. I look forward to helping you grow in confidence and make steady progress in English!
